ABOUT ME
Ever since I was a little girl, my imagination has been large, and my dreams and aspirations even larger. After reading novel after novel, I finally began writing my own, and I exclaimed to my mother that one day, I too would be a writer. Fast forward to high school when I joined my school’s newspaper and became the editor-in-chief. It was then that I knew I was serious about pursuing journalism. This revelation led me to enrolling in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and joining the student-run, award-winning newspaper, The Post. Following my freshman year as a staff writer, I was promoted to the assistant editor for the lifestyle and entertainment section, where I gained valuable experience and grew a portfolio which helped me land my internship with Cleveland Magazine, where I currently reside. In the future, I can only hope and dream of working for a renowned publication in a big city, and each and every day, with every minute of hard work and dedication I put into every individual, intentional word I write, I can feel myself one step closer to attaining this dream.
